LOCATOR (USER) RISK SCORES

Further improvements to the self-learning predictive risk model are included in v2.26. Most notably, utility locators now have an associated risk score. Factors such as past performance, tenure, and experience may contribute to users' risk scores.

A locate request's risk score may be impacted by the locator that is currently assigned to complete the locate request. A locate request that is identified as high risk may have its risk score further increased by assigning the ticket to a high risk locator. Damage prevention dispatchers and managers can use this information to assign high risk excavation jobs to their best performing locators in order to reduce risk and avoid damages. Follow ups such as evaluations, patrols, or site visits may also be warranted for high risk jobs.

Risk scores may be overridden on a case by case basis in the "Risk Score Override" field if extraordinary circumstances are identified.

NOTE: DigTix's predictive risk score model is constantly improving. Stay tuned for more exciting improvements in upcoming releases!

EMAIL DISTRIBUTION LISTS

Lists for email distribution may now be defined and managed through a new "Email Distribution Lists" section within the DigTix Administration page. These lists may be used in other areas of DigTix to efficiently communicate and notify teams and individuals of certain events or items that need attention.

Locate requests may be distributed en masse using the new "Bulk Email Tickets" feature. This feature is part of the bulk update system of DigTix. Once the desired tickets have been selected within the locates grid, they can all be emailed to a distribution list with just a few clicks!

Future releases of DigTix will include features and improvements which leverage these email distribution lists.

CDC FLAGS

Flags may be defined for each CDC within DigTix. These flags provide a way for DigTix users to quickly categorize locate requests as they are being researched and/or located. Notifications may be automatically sent out to the specified Email Distribution List whenever a flag is applied to a locate request. Common examples of such categories include "High Pressure", "Unlocateable", "Mapping Issue", "Escalation", and "Encroachment".

The "Flags" section of the Administration page is where flags can be configured for each CDC.

Locators may select which flag(s) apply to each locate request, triggering an email notification and logging the categorization for reporting or follow up purposes.

FOLLOW UP IMPROVEMENTS

Last Updated Column

A new "Last Updated" column and color by option has been added to the follow ups grid. This field is designed to easily distinguish which follow ups have last been worked on today, yesterday, and so on. Follow ups which have been updated on the current day will appear in white. Follow ups which were last updated prior to the current day appear in yellow, orange, and red.

Automatic Follow Up Triggers

Follow ups may now be automatically triggered based on the associated risk score of tickets. Within the "Follow Up Types" section of the Administration page, an "Auto Trigger Risk Score" may be specified on each defined follow up type. If a ticket's risk score is found to be higher than the configured value, a follow up of this type will automatically be created for that ticket. NOTE: If one or more follow ups of this type have already been triggered for the ticket, an additional follow up is not automatically triggered based on the risk score.
