NOTE: This article describes DigTix features at the time of the associated release. Subsequent updates may make parts of this article obsolete and/or out of date.

Nomenclature Improvements

DigTix has updated the nomenclature used throughout the application to 1) match industry standards; and 2) improve clarity and reduce confusion through consistency.

  • "Contract Statuses" have been renamed to "Close Codes".

  • "Contract Charges" have been renamed to "Billables".

  • "Contracts" have been renamed to "Member Codes" or "CDCs".

  • "Ticket ID Suffix" has been renamed to "Revision".

  • Several ticket grid columns have been renamed:

    • "Locate Response Date" to "Positive Response Due Date".

    • "Days Until Response Due" to "Days Until Positive Response Due".

    • "Due Date" to "Locate Completion Due Date".

    • "Days Until Due" to "Days Until Completion Due".

Due Date Options

The two due date types ("Positive Response Due Date", "Locate Completion Due Date") are now provided as options side-by-side throughout DigTix. This includes dashboard metrics, reports, and quick filters. Refer to the attached document "DigTix PR Compliance and Due Date Management.pdf" for more information.

Ticket Assignment Alert Improvements

Ticket assignment alerts are now managed in a new Administration "Alerts" section. This new section comes with various improvements to make definition and management of alerts much more straightforward and easy.

Misc

  • Hyperlinks and email addresses are now displayed as interactive links within the "Original Request" panel.

  • Fixed an issue when attempting to save a diagram which has no diagram elements (arrows, shapes, etc) on it.

  • Ticket views list may be updated without having to refresh the entire DigTix page via a new "Refresh" button.

  • Infrastructure list may be updated without having to refresh the entire DigTix page via a new "Refresh" button.

  • Linking a CDC on incidents may now be cleared via a new "X" button.

  • Text column filters now support the specification of multiple values separated by commas. To filter a column by more than one value, supply the values with a comma between the search terms e.g. "emergency, high" or "OH, KY".

  • Various improvements and fixes to the "Unparsed" page.

  • Added ability for contract locators to maintain two different sets of response codes: one for the originating call center and one for customer response systems (all response codes are optional).

  • Features which are not used in certain environments have been turned off. Example: Features which apply only to contract locator organizations have been disabled for organizations which are not contract locators.

  • More robust configuration options for the custom form grid e.g. column width.

  • Several internal improvements relating to performance, stability, and monitoring.
