Scenario: A student has completed a slide, but they are not able to move on to the next slide. It appears as if they are stuck.
Possible Reason: It is possible that when Articulate attempts to notify Coursettra that the student is complete and retrieve information for the next items, the interaction fails and is never completed. Unfortunately, Articulates default setting is to only ever attempt that interaction once. There are a lot of influencers that can affect that, though, when the Articulate is attempting to communicate with a "storage" device such as an LMS.
Possible Solutions: A solution that will work in the majority of situations, is to adjust the settings on that slide to always 'Reset to initial state'. (The default setting is 'Automatically decide'.) By resetting to its initial state, you will re-engage the triggers on that slide to start over when the student "Resumes" the articulate. They will have to re-do that slide, but it will trick Articulate into re-sending their status to Coursettra and retrieving the needed information for the next experience.
Steps to Correct:
- Open Articulate
- Open the Slide causing problems
- Click the Slide Properties option (Gear icon in the Bottom-Right Corner, near the slide layers information) to edit the slide properties
- Change 'When revisiting' to the 'Resent to initial state' option
- Re-Publish your Articulate
- Re-Upload into Coursettra
