You can exclude tickets from auto-processing. The processing order of exclusions is the same as the processing order of response types.
Create Auto Process Exclusion Condition
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( )>Administration tab>Ticket Management>Auto-Processing
- On the Auto Processing Overview page, click Go to Auto Process Exclusion Condition Summary
- On the Auto Process Exclusion Condition Summary page, click Add an Auto Process Exclusion Condition

Edit Auto Process Exclusion Condition
On the Auto Process Exclusion Condition Summary page, click the text in the Apply To column to choose the auto response to change.
On the Auto Process Exclusion Condition Detail page, make edits as below.

Edits listed in order of Adding a Auto Process Exclusion Condition. When changing an Auto Process Exclusion Condition you can make edits in a different order.
2a: Auto Process Types / Select Auto Process TypesSelect the auto process category type the exclusion condition applies to.
Category Type Processing Order Description Auto Response 1 Tickets automatically assigned to a person Auto Folder Placement 2 Tickets automatically placed in a folder Auto Assignment 3 Tickets automatically responded to 2b: Match / Modify Values to Match OnIn the dropdown list, choose the information from the ticket that the system matches on so it can exclude tickets.
Any information typed into boxes must match the information on the ticket exactly (make sure whatever you type has no spaces before or after the text).
Match Description Bounding Box Diagonal Length Type diagonal length in feet. This number is a minimum. Example: 15 means "at least 15 feet" Digsite Distance Some ticket fields need explanation:
Disable based on the number of feet parsed from the fields selected: This number is a minimum. Example: 15 means "at least 15 feet"
Disable based on the number of occurrences of the keywords in the fields selected: This number is a minimum. Example: 15 means "keywords occur at least 15 times"
Due Time Amount of time until ticket is due Field Length Number of characters (per ticket field)
Keyword Find keywords (search for or select keywords)
Choose when to apply this rule (either when any of the keywords you chose or when all keywords you chose are found on the ticket)
Your company must have created keywords. See Keywords
Noncompliant Excavator Click to choose whether the excavator is compliant or non-compliant.
Your company must have distinguished between compliant and non-compliant excavators. To set up excavators, see Excavator Summary
Ticket Creation Time The date and time the ticket was created Ticket Type Category Click the Ticket Type Category from the ticket 2c: Registration Codes / Select Registration CodesSelect or search for the registration codes in the ticket that the system matches on to auto exclude the ticket.
Action Description Search - In the Search In dropdown list, choose to search for a registration or facility
- In the search box, type the name of the registration or facility
- Click Search
- From the search results, click the ones you want to add to the response
Select Click the registration codes you want to add to the exclusion condition 2d: Specify when condition applied / Specify When to Apply this Rule
Choose when to apply the condition
- Click Finish. The Auto Process Exclusion Condition Detail page appears for the item you just created. On the Auto Process Exclusion Condition Summary page, the Apply To column lists the auto response category types you are excluding
Enable/Disable
You can enable or disable an auto process exclusion condition from either the Summary page or from the condition itself (Detail page).
Page How to Enable or Disable Summary page - In the left column, click Enable/Disable Auto Process Exclusion Conditions
- Click the check boxes to choose the responses and click Enable or Disable
- The Auto Process Exclusion Conditions Summary page appears listing responses
Detail page - In the left column, click Enable/Disable this Auto Process Exclusion Conditions
- The Auto Process Exclusion Condition Detail page appears showing the notification enable or disabled
