WHAT'S NEW:
Trimble Mobile Manager Integration: Field technicians can now connect the mobile app to Trimble Mobile Manager to capture high-precision GPS locations within their tasks. A status icon on the task action bar shows whether the connection is active, and a Trimble panel shows the connection status, device battery level, and when the device connected or was last connected, with an option to reconnect.
Search on Native Form Components: Field technicians can now use Search on supported components in native forms, matching the search behavior already available in HTML forms.
Save as Draft for Native Work Items: Field technicians can now save native work items as drafts and finish them later, matching the Save as Draft behavior available in HTML forms.
Quick Review and Clear Actions: Field technicians can now review or clear a ticket directly from the Ticket Details page, including adding a comment and photos when clearing. Review and Clear are available based on user permissions, and actions taken offline are queued and synced in the order they were made.
WHAT'S IMPROVED:
Offline-First Task Workflows: The mobile app now loads core task pages from data stored on the device first and refreshes in the background, so pages open faster and keep working in areas with poor or no coverage. Attachment thumbnails are pre-loaded for synced tasks, and a persistent indicator shows whether the app is online or offline.
More Reliable Sync: Improved how the mobile app syncs in the foreground and background, so offline changes upload reliably once the device reconnects and pending items no longer remain stuck in progress after the app is closed or restarted.
Task List Performance and Reliability: Improved the responsiveness and reliability of the task list, including loading, scrolling, and multi-select.
Android Stability: Improved app stability on Android 14, 15, and 16 by addressing native crashes that could close the app unexpectedly.
iOS Stability: Improved app stability on iOS by addressing crashes and app hangs reported in the previous release.
WHAT'S FIXED:
Camera Button Unresponsive After Relaunch: Fixed an issue where the camera button on task details and the + button on the Attachments tab stopped responding after the app was sent to the background or closed while using the camera.
Ticket Number on Surveys Created from the Map: Fixed an issue where the Ticket Number was not pre-filled when creating a survey from the + action on the Map.
Work Item from Asset Stuck Loading: Fixed an issue where creating a work item from an asset could load indefinitely for HTML-based work item forms.
Status Options on Drafted Work Items: Fixed an issue where status-change options appeared on the Update button of a drafted work item.
