How can I track attendance on my seminar?

To setup attendance:

  1. Search and view the seminar you are working with
  2. Navigate to the student section and edit
  3. Toggle the attendance option on or off


To take attendance from a web browser:

  1. View the appropriate seminar
  2. Navigate to the student section
  3. Select the 'Options' menu for the student you would like to mark as present
  4. Select the 'Mark as Present' option


To Scan attendance from a web browser including mobile device:

  1. Login to Coursettra using the device of your choosing.   (Access using your device browser such as safari or chrome).
  2. Open the item (event, course, seminar) you wish to take attendance.   
  3. Click the "Scan Attendance" link located at the top of the Student section.  

At that point, it will try to identify your device camera and take over.    Scan the QR in your device camera window.  A confirmation of the student you have scanned will appear, confirm to mark as present.  


NOTE:  Marking a student as present for the seminar, will automatically mark them as present for any courses associated to the seminar that also require attendance.
