Use the Productivity Analysis feature to create and edit Productivity Watches so you can monitor employee productivity. Access Productivity Watches in Analytics > Productivity.
Search
Search by name and description to find Productivity Watches.
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Productivity Analysis. Result: The Productivity Watch Summary page appears
- In the upper-left corner, type a search in the search box
- Click Search ( ). Result: Search results appear
- Optional. To erase the search term and results, click X.
Create Productivity Watch
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Productivity Analysis. Result: The Productivity Watch Summary page appears
- Productivity Watch Summary page, in the upper right corner, click New Productivity Watch
- On the Productivity Watch Details page, fill in the fields. See Modify Productivity Watch, step 2, below
Modify Productivity Watch
- On the Productivity Watch Summary page, find the Productivity Watch and click View.
On the Productivity Watch details page, make changes:
Field Description Description The description of the productivity watch Productivity Watch Name The name of the productivity watch Productivity Watch Values To measure productivity, assign points for actions and views:
- Action points: The number of points per action
- Item View points: The number of points per item view
- Page View points: The number of points per page view
- Unproductive time threshold: The threshold is the percentage of the daily average points per hour (in each 15-minute period) below which the time is shown as unproductive (represented by a shaded orange bar on the timeline)
If you change points, they are changed for all uses of the watch, including dates in the past.
Who to Watch The groups or users in the productivity watch
- At the left, click Groups or Users
- At the bottom left, use the page links or use the search box. Clear search term: At right end of search box, click Clear (X)
- Check the box for the group or user to add them to the watch
- Click Save
View History of Changes
There are two ways to view the history of changes to Productivity Watches:
- On either the Productivity Watch Summary page or a Productivity Watch Details page, in the upper right corner, click History.
In the History window:
Page Description Details Page The list of all changes and the person who performed them
Summary Page The list of all changes to all Productivity Watches and the people who performed them
Click Show Changes to see a description of the change
