Users must have a profile to use the Irth mobile app.
Use this feature to link users to a single mobile profile (if you add a user to a profile, they are removed from any profile they had previously been linked to).
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Mobile Profiles
- On the Mobile Profile Overview page, click Link User Profiles
On the Link User Profiles page, choose the profile and add users:
- In the Profile to add to dropdown, click the profile to add users to
- In the Users section, use the search box or the pagination links (bottom right) to find users
- Click Add to Profile
You can set any profile to be the default profile.
The default profile is the recommended way to allow the most users access to the app with the least amount of effort. See Recommended Profiles Example, below.
If you add a user to a profile, they are removed from any profile they had previously been linked to.
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Mobile Profiles
- On the Mobile Profile Overview page, in the Mobile Profiles section, in the Name column, click the mobile profile
- On the Mobile Profile Detail page, in the left column, click Set as Default Profile
- On the Default Mobile Profile page, confirm that the profile will be set as the default profile. Click Save. Result: The Mobile Profile Detail page appears with the Mobile Profile Information section now saying the profile is the default profile (Company Default field now says "Yes")
Recommended Profiles Example
This is a common set of profiles used to allow three sets of users to access the system by using profiles tailored to their needs:
Profile | Description |
Advanced User | More or more powerful settings than those of the default profile |
Default | The most widely-used, basic settings. For some companies, a default profile may be all the only profile needed |
Minimum | Fewer or less powerful settings than those of the default profile |
