Purpose/Overview

The Utilisphere mobile app now has an official Mobile Device Management (MDM) Policy that applies to customers whose IT departments manage the release of mobile app versions on their devices. This policy ensures customers understand Irth’s mobile app support and release practices and encourages adoption of the latest versions for optimal performance and user experience. This policy helps maintain security, performance, and feature consistency by encouraging timely updates to the latest app versions.


Why It's Useful:

  • Solves issues related to outdated app versions, causing degraded performance or security risks.

  • Intended for enterprise customers with managed devices.

  • Provides transparency on release cadence, version support, and communication timelines.


Key Benefits/Use Cases:

  • IT teams can plan app deployment cycles aligned with Irth’s release schedule, ensuring compliance and security.

  • Customers receive proactive notifications about major releases, reducing downtime and user disruption.

  • Automatic updates enabled on devices improve user experience and minimize manual intervention.

Release Schedule:

  • Major Updates: Every 2–3 months, aligned with product roadmap milestones. These include new features, usability enhancements, and performance improvements.
  • Minor Updates: Released as needed to address bugs or urgent improvements.

Customer Notification:

  • Advance Notice: Customers will receive notice of upcoming major releases at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • Release Notes: Detailed notes will be provided 1 week prior to deployment, including:
    • New features
    • Deprecated functionality
    • Required actions (if any)

Support Commitment:

Irth will provide guidance and support for the latest and prior app versions. For the best experience, we strongly recommend keeping your app updated.
