Goals and Objectives

Coursettra allows for the setup of a 4-tier objective hierarchy:

• Company Goals
• Training Goals
• Course Goals 
• Lesson Goals 

Following is an example of an Objective Hierarchy appropriate to the One Call Center:

• Company:  Increase awareness of the Damage Prevention Industry
  • Training Goal:  Home Owner Awareness
  • Training Goal:  Excavator Awareness
    • Course Goal:  Know safe digging best practices as established in the state of Ohio
      • Lesson Goal:  Know two ways for contacting Ohio811  (This is a lesson goal that might be re-used as part of the Homeowner Awareness training as well)
      • Lesson Goal:  Know the information that must be collected prior to submitting a locate request
      • Lesson Goal :  Know the proper tolerance zone when working within Ohio
      • Lesson Goal :  Understand what it means to White Line your dig site
      • Lesson Goal :  Know the color codes established for each type of infrastructure
    • Course Goal:  Become familiar with safe digging laws in as established in the state of Ohio
      • Lesson Goal :  Become familiar with the Ohio Revised Code
      • Lesson Goal :  Know the minimum fines imposed for non compliance with Ohio Laws
      • Lesson Goal :  Become familiar with the enforcement bodies for the Ohio Laws
    • Course Goal:  Understand the dangers and fines associated with damages
