Use the Regions feature to view ticket data based on region divisions linked to registration codes or ticket folders. A region must have at least one subcategory called a division.
To view ticket data by region, use these Analytics features:
- Dashboards (Add Chart)
- Self-Service Reports (Tickets > Regions)
Change to use Region by Folders / Registration Codes
You can switch between having the region divisions linked to ticket folders or registration codes. Each change removes all previously linked registration codes or folders for all region divisions.
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Regions
- On the Regions page, click Change to use Region by Folders
- On the window, read the warning that if you use regions by folders, all registration codes or ticket folders are removed from all region divisions. If you accept this loss of registration codes or ticket folders from region divisions, click OK. Result: The system removes the registration codes or ticket folders and the Region page reloads
Add a Region
- On the top menu bar, click System Management ( ) > Administration > General > Regions
- On the Regions page, click Add a Region
- On the Add a Region window, fill in the Name and Description fields. See Modify Region, step 2, below
Modify Region
- On the Region page, in the right most column of the region, click Edit ( )
- On the Modify a Region window, change the Name and Description fields
- Click Save
- On the Region page, in the Region Name column, to open the region, the right -facing triangle
- To add a division, click Add a Division
- On the Add a Division window, fill in the Name and Description fields
- Click Save
- On the Region page, in the Region Name column, to open the region, click the right -facing triangle
- In the Region, in Division Name column, click the right -facing triangle
- To select a division item, click Select Division Items
- On the Select Division Items window, click or search to choose a registration code or ticket folder
- Click Save. Result: The registration codes or ticket folders appear in the Division section
