When using the Excavator Alias Recommendation feature, the system recommends the creation of new aliases for existing excavators, based on matching excavator data in new tickets to existing excavators already in the system. For more information on aliases, see Excavator Details > Add an Alias.
Note: This feature requires the Damage Analysis feature to be configured, including creation of a Damage Form.
The system automatically matches on these fields from the one call center ticket to create alias recommendations to be added to an excavator (The matching is limited by state. For example, Florida tickets are matched to Florida excavators):
- Contact Email
- Contact Name
- Contact Phone
- Excavator Name
The system uses color to indicate matches:

Excavator Name
You can filter excavators by name within a US state.
- On Excavator Alias Recommendations page, in the Filters column (on the left), in the Excavator Name search box, type a search and click Search ( ). Result: Search results appear
- Optional. To erase the search term and results, click X.
State
Use filters to limit the results by US state.
- On Excavator Alias Recommendations page, in the Filters column (on the left), in the State dropdown list, choose a US state and click Apply Filter. Result: Results appear
- Optional. To erase the search term and results, click X.
- Optional. To clear all filter results, click Clear Filter
On the Excavator Alias Recommendations page, in the Alias Recommended (rightmost column) of the alias you want to approve or reject, click an action:
Field Description Approve The alias is approved. Result:
The system adds the alias to the excavator listed above it in the white row
All future tickets with the alias are processed identically to those with the excavator to which the alias has been added
Reject The alias is rejected. Result:
Does not add the alias to the excavator listed above it in the white row
This recommendation does not appear again even if it matches
